2015 Recommended Budget

On July 16th the County Manager released the 2015 recommended budget of $421.5 million represents an increase over the 2014 revised budget of 1.4 percent for all operating funds. Property tax rates are estimated to be 29.337 mills for Sedgwick County and 18.348 mills for Fire District 1, consistent with the rates included in the 2014 adopted budget. The 2015 budget will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners on August 13 after holding three public budget hearings at 9 a.m. on July 30 and August 11.
