School Illness Reporting

The School Illness Reporting website does not replace reporting individual cases of communicable diseases, as required by law. To report a suspect or confirmed case of varicella, pertussis or other reportable disease, go to the Sedgwick County Health Department website (www.sedgwickcounty.org/healthdept) and choose “Report a Disease”. Nurses are encouraged to use the secure on-line report form or can report via hotline or by email. Epidemiologists at the health department who receive these messages will contact you about the report.
