Delinquent Tax Listings

Welcome to the Sedgwick County Treasurer's Office delinquent tax listing application. The purpose of this application is to allow you to view a list of all delinquent properties in Sedgwick County.

To search for delinquent property, enter a name, choose a property type and click on the Search button. You will be taken to a alphabetical list of properties matching the name entered.

Public notice is hereby given that taxes on Personal Property located in Sedgwick County, State of Kansas, is unpaid, in whole or in part, and here appears the name of each delinquent taxpayer followed by his/her last known address and the total amount of unpaid taxes, penalties and costs.

Some of the names listed may have already paid their personal property taxes or may be awaiting results of a tax grievance or tax protest before paying the taxes due. Unfortunately, it is not practical to delete these names.

I regret any undue embarrassment this may cause those who are still awaiting tax protest decisions.

Personal Property Tax Information

The Delinquent Personal Property tax list that follows is for unpaid Personal Property Taxes only. Pay-off quotes for unpaid taxes for prior years are available by calling the Sedgwick County Treasurer's Office at (316) 660-9000 or e-mail at treasurer@sedgwick.gov. You may also request that a pay-off quote be transmitted by fax.

In Kansas, Personal Property taxes become due on November 1st each year. A two-payment option is available. If the first-half taxes are paid by December 20th, the second-half payment is due May 10th of the following year.

The Sedgwick County Treasurer mailed Personal Property tax statements in early November to the address of record. If a current tax statement was not received by November 15th, a duplicate tax statement was available upon request by calling the Treasurer's Office at (316) 660-9000.

Tax payments may be made in the Sedgwick County Courthouse, Treasurer's Office, 525 N. Main, Room 107, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or may be mailed to Brandi Baily, Sedgwick County Treasurer, P.O. Box 2961, Wichita, KS 67201.

The total amount due, as indicated on the list below, is valid if paid in the Sedgwick County Treasurer's Office by 5:00 p.m. on the 20th of each month. Payments received after the 20th of each month will accrue additional interest. Pay-off quotes are available from the Treasurer's Tax Department at (316) 660-9000 , or by e-mail at treasurer@sedgwick.gov.

Real Estate Tax Information

The Delinquent Real Estate Tax List that follows is for unpaid Real Estate Taxes only. Pay-off quotes for unpaid taxes for current or prior years are available by calling the Sedgwick County Treasurer's Office at (316) 660-9000 or by e-mail at treasurer@sedgwick.gov You may also request a pay-off quote be transmitted by fax.

Vacant lots with petitioned specials are eligible for tax foreclosure sale after real estate taxes remain unpaid for 2 ½ years. Other real estate parcels are eligible for tax foreclosure sale after taxes remain unpaid for 3 ½ years.

In Kansas, Real Estate taxes become due on November 1 each year. A two-payment option is available. If the first-half taxes are paid by 5 p.m. December 20, the second-half tax payment is due by 5 p.m. May 10 of the following year, before interest begins to accrue.

The Sedgwick County Treasurer mails Real Estate Tax Statements on or before November 15 each year to the address of record or to a designated lending institution. If a current tax statement was not received by November 15, a duplicate tax statement was available upon request by calling the County Treasurer's Office at (316) 660-9000 or by e-mail at treasurer@sedgwick.gov.

If you re-finance, change mortgage company, or pay off your mortgage and your tax statement should now be mailed to a different address, it remains your responsibility, by law, to provide the County Clerk (316) 660-9000 with a current mailing address of record. You must also contact the Treasurer's Office directly at (316) 660-9000 and request the deletion of the mortgagor's loan code which authorized the mailing of your tax statement directly to the lending institution.

Public notice is hereby given to all persons and particularly to the owners and other persons interested in the following described real estate, that I, Brandi Baily, Treasurer of Sedgwick County, Kansas will on Tuesday the 4th day of September 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Treasurer's Office, Room 107, Sedgwick County Courthouse, 525 N. Main, Wichita, Kansas, bid off in the name of, and sell to, Sedgwick County Kansas, all such real estate having taxes unpaid for the year of 2011.
